FS2004, Guam International Airport, Won Pat.............PGUM

Description:

Thia scenery represents the architecturally beautiful Guam International airport located in the Pacific Islands near the Phillippines. It has been completely redone for FS2004, and now represents the airport much closer due to some new photos. It is a fairly large airport, and an important stop over point for many trans Pacific flights. The scenery contains the main terminal, commuter terminal, cargo area, general aircraft area, hangar area, airport business center, and a residential area overlooking the resort city of Agana. It also features all new tropical trees, and new jetways which conform to the type of aircraft.

Installation:

1. Extract the zip into your main FS2004 Addon Scenery folder, or into a temporary folder, and then move it there, which ever method you prefer.

2. Start up FS2004 and when the welcome screen, or initial menu comes on, select settings, then click on Scenery Library, and Add Area. Find the Addon Scenery folder and open it, then find the GuamV2 folder and click on it. The name GuamV2 should now appear in the title window, then click OK. Then you will see GuamV2 at the top of your scenery library list, and click the OK tab at the bottom.

3. That's it! You must first exit FS2004, and when you restart it your scenery will be there. It is not necessary to use the Addon Scenery option to locate this scenery, simply go to the airport in FS.

Credits:

Gabriel Concha, for the pushback tug, and the best I have found.

Christian Freidrich, for the bus macros.

Rafael Garcia Sanchez, for his low impact airport vehicles represented here by the baggage carts, also for his Nova program which enabled me to create the ramp textures.

Rodrigo Gozales, for the parking tetures at the entrance of the parking structure.

Tom Burnett, for the airport vans.

Andre Urosevic, for the new fire truck macros.

Marshall Brandt, for the cargo stairs.

Notes:

This scenery is not forgiving when it comes to frame rates, but will most likely be better than those I get personally with my early Pentium 4 computer. If you are running an older computer like mine, I would suggest decreasing the Autogen settings, as well as the A1 traffic for improved performance. You might also try dumping the texture file into your main FS texture folder, and overwriting all to prevent duplicate textures from having to be loaded. My next project will be a total remake of Mexico City International, which will get me up to date on my remakes for FS2004, and allow me to start on some completely new projects. I have included a top down shot which represents which gates will handle which aircraft for afcad developers.
